Promoting the Irish Language

Pupils coming from the Bunscoil at Scoil Phadraig Naofa will find that the Irish Department in Ardscoil Naomh Iosaif plays an important role in the development of the Irish language.

These children will have the opportunity to take their GCSE examination in the Irish language during their Key Stage three years.

An Irish language assistant is timetabled with them for their Irish classes and helps to develop their language skills.
