Soccer Caps

ST. JOSEPH’S STUDENT EARNS SOCCER CAPS PLAYING FOR NORTHERN IRELAND

A proud David Largey, a year 12 student at St. Joseph’s , Crossmaglen, displays two caps received for representing Northern Ireland in an Irish soccer tournament .

His caps are for matches against England and Scotland. The school is very proud of his achievements.

ST. JOSEPH’S HIGH SCHOOL WELCOMES YEAR 8 STUDENTS WITH SCHOOL MASS

On Thursday last , St. Joseph’s High School welcomed its Year 8 in pupils and parents to a mass to celebrate this milestone in their educational lives. There was an extraordinary turn out. The mass was celebrated by Fr. Liam McKinney.

After the mass, Principal Scally addressed the group and extended his welcome to the new pupils and their parents.

ST.JOSEPH’S CELEBRATES KEY STAGE THREE SUCCESS

On Wednesday 22th of September , St. Joseph’s High School , Crossmaglen , celebrated the excellent achievement of its pupils in the Key Stage Three examinations.
Each pupil received a certificate outlining their individual achievements. Awards were given to those pupils who achieved the highest level in Maths ,English and Science. The winners were: Ciara Largey for English, Hannah Morgan for Maths and Roy Hudson for Science.
A special award was given to the Overall Winner of Junior Certificate, this was awarded to Zoe Mc Shane.
Awards for endeavour were also given out, these awards acknowledge those pupils who endeavoured to achieve their potential. A special award was given to one pupil from each class in acknowledging their great efforts in achieving academic success . Winners of this award were: Zoe Mc Shane , Seana Mullholland , Megan Murphy and Peter Og Mc Donnell.
The Prize giving which was organised by Mr. Oliver Short ,Head of Junior School, was a great success and a very enjoyable experience for all who participated.
